Environmental Markets Analyst
TEP is looking for a highly motivated, full-time Environmental Markets Analyst to support our business development and sales functions. You will support revenue generation and the growth of the business by developing financial models, collecting & analyzing data, and communicating results to management & capital partners to further the company’s land restoration mission.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify sources of information and data from publicly available datasets, technical reports, and phone interviews
- Analyze information and data and communicate results in various formats, including spreadsheets, memoranda, and slide decks
- Create financial models that incorporate multiple scenarios, sensitivity analyses, and transaction structures
Skills Needed to Meet the Above Responsibilities:
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel (VBA or other code proficiency a plus)
- 3+ years of experience conducting data driven research and financial modeling
- Highly curious, with a strong motivation to learn and acquire new information
- Ability to succinctly communicate the results of analytical work in a way that a variety of audiences can understand
- Strong attention to detail in both research and reporting results
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines
- A passion for natural resources conservation is preferred
